Thrice-married hypocrite Donald Trump: 'I am not in favor of gay marriage.'

| Reddit | Tumblr | Digg | FARK

UPDATE FROM JOHN: Trump says he'd spend "hundreds of millions" if he ran for president. That's almost as much money as former wives.

Apparently, Donald Trump is serious about running for President as a GOPer. He's trying to burnish is anti-gay credentials -- and he did it on FOX, of course, which we got via The Hill:

VAN SUSTEREN: [interrupting] ... Gay marriage?

TRUMP: I am not in favor of gay marriage.

VAN SUSTEREN: You sort of hesitate when you say that. Any doubt or...

TRUMP: No, you know, I'm just not in favor of gay marriage. I live in New York. New York is a place with lots of gays, and I think it's great, but I'm not in favor of gay marriage.
Oh, how magnanimous that Trump think it's great that the gays live in New York. He just doesn't want them to be equal.

Multiple marriages are okay for him. He's on his third (Ivana, Marla and, now, Melania.) But, nothing for the gays. Creepy hypocrite.

NOTE FROM JOHN: Of course, the problem we have is that Trump is simply going to respond "I simply agree with President Obama." I was ticked when I read this article last night. But then I thought, he simply agrees with Obama. The President really needs to admit that he's in favor of marriage equality, as he once admitted in 1996. I get the politics, I get the fear of embracing our civil rights. And too bad. It's 2011. The long of arc of justice is at an end. We want our full and equal civil rights, and we want them now.
