GetEQUAL held an impromptu protest today outside former Bush lawyer, and current Boehner lawyer defending DOMA, Paul Clement's old and new offices in Washington, DC.
First they headed for King & Spalding, only to learn that Clement was leaving old the firm and moving to Bancroft PLLC, apparently after a tiff over King & Spalding dropping the DOMA case. (Earlier GetEQUAL erroneously reported that they had seen Clement escorted from the building - they were in error, they didn't see any such thing. We apologize mentioning their erroneous report.)
Bancroft PLLC seemed to want this controversy, and they got it.
