Senate committee considers DOMA repeal

It's hard for me to get worked up about DOMA, or even ENDA, proceeding in the Senate as they're not going to pass the House.  We should have been discussing these bills during the first two years of the Obama administration when we had a Democratic House and Senate.  At this point, we could pass it in the Senate and it still wouldn't go anywhere in the House.  We should be focusing on things we can do now, such as getting the President to issue an executive order applying ENDA's mandate to federal contractors (i.e., requiring that they adopt LGBT non-discrimination policies).
