Taking a gay date to a Marine ball, and no one blinked

It's a long post, and I'm not even going to try to summarize it.  Gay Marine takes boyfriend, or at least date, to big Marine ball.  And things go quite well.  I can't imagine, or I can imagine, my stomach flipping, as Marine or date, on getting ready to walk into that place.  That took real guts.  It's a great post.  Long.  But necessarily so.  It's worth a read.
