Catholic church pulls funding for homeless charity over director's private pro-gay, pro-choice views

The homeless charity the Catholics are trying to destroy is run by a Methodist minister.   She's pro-gay and pro-choice, so she must be destroyed - no, strike that, so the homeless shelter must be destroyed.

So, gosh, this would be a case of the Catholics trying to impinge on the religious liberty of a Methodist minister, of a Methodist homeless shelter, wouldn't it?   Funny, since the Catholics are so big on accusing everyone else of violating their religious liberty.  Guess it's not so bad when it happens to someone else.

Sac Bee:

Each morning, dozens of poor people line up at Francis House, in Sacramento's homeless services epicenter on C and 14th streets, for help with basic services such as housing and transportation.
"We serve the poor," he said. "We don't have a litmus test for homeless people when they come in. We don't ask them for their position on choice and gay marriage. We just help them. But for whatever reason, the diocese made those issues a higher priority than the mission."
The Catholic church leadership isn't about helping people. Otherwise they wouldn't aid and abet the serial rape of young children, and they wouldn't close down foster care services for orphans simply because they don't want to treat gays civilly.  It was only a matter of time before the culture of corruption branched out from harming children to harming other vulnerable segments of society.

I watch the Catholic church do these things and the Inquisition, among other Catholic atrocities, become more fathomable.
