Check out this North Carolina church's daily message, yesterday, right above its sign indicating that it's a polling place. This kind of thing is corruption, pure as simple. And of course it's "legal" in North Carolina. I suspect mandating that only Christians can run for office would be "legal" if you put it to a vote in the state legislature. It may be legal, but it's corrupt. It's meant to interfere with the voting rights of fellow citizens, which is bad enough, but they're also getting a tax exemption to help them do it.
If churches want to be an appendage of the Republican party then they should be taxed as such.
