Earlier today, I posted an article with a list of the New York State Senators who are undecided on marriage. I mentioned that we hadn't seen a public whip count. Well, ask and ye shall receive.
Act on Principles has pulled together a whip count. Here's the current breakdown:
The full list of Senators, including their position on marriage and all contact info., is in the AOP post here. I sorted the list by position. We need 32 votes. These are the eight Senators listed as "Undecided":
Grisanti, Mark J. R 60-Erie, Niagara 518-455-3240Don't think for a minute that NOM and the NY Catholic Conference aren't hounding these Senators. Our opponents are targeting them.

Joseph A. Griffo (R- 47-Lewis, Oneida & St. Lawrence): 518-455-3334

Greg Ball (R-40-Putnam, Dutchess (eastern)): 518-455-3111
Carl Kruger (D-27-Kings): 518-455-2460
Joseph P. Addabbo, Jr. (D-15-Queens): 518-455-2322
Shirley L. Huntley (D-10-Queens): 518-455-3531
For those who aren't familiar with Act on Principles, here's an explanation of how the Public Whip Count works:
The Public Whip Count is based on the wiki-concept that allows any user, like you, to research, report and modify information. This means that registered users of our website can easily and quickly learn who is for or against multiple pieces of legislation based on prior shared information, can directly contact legislators, and then can directly update the public whip count for others to see. This cycle will repeat as we get closer and closer to understanding the actual collective position of Congress. The NY legislature is expected to adjourn on June 20th.
