No marriage vote tonight in New York Senate

| Reddit | Tumblr | Digg | FARK

Via tweet from NYT's Nick Confessore:

BREAKING: Senate leaving for the night. No votes: No prop cap, no rent, no #gaymarriage. Negotations to continue all night, reconvening Fri.
Ugh.

Another day without equality in New York. But, hey, the President raised a lot of money from the gays.

Let's see what tomorrow brings. Capitol Tonight just tweeted this:
Libous: #samesexmarriage could be conferenced Friday.
Libous is Tom Libous, the Deputy Majority Leader. I believe he means the Senate GOP conference could finally decide what it's going to do. Libous is not a marriage supporter.

The Senate will be back in session tomorrow at 10 AM.
