We wrote earlier about the Albanian Defense official who said that gays should be beaten with batons. It seems the Albanian premier is not pleased. From AP:
Albania's prime minister rebuked a Cabinet member Monday for saying that people planning to join the country's first-ever gay pride celebration "should be beaten with batons."And he's reportedly now endorsed the Pride march.
Prime Minister Sali Berisha called the remarks by Deputy Defense Minister Ekrem Spahiu "unacceptable."
