Microsoft's Gates, Ballmer each donate $100k to marriage equality battle in WA state

Very cool.  We had our little run in with Microsoft a few years back when a religious right preacher apparently scared them into dropping their historic support for gay civil rights measure (Microsoft was, for example, an early supporter of ENDA in the early 1990s).  Joe and I used the blog to fight back, and we won.  Since that time (2005), Microsoft has done great job of restoring its image as a civil rights warrior at home, and this is just another (great) example. Say what you will about the company, but Bill Gates put his money where his mouth is.  You can't say that about every corporate gazillionaire.
