Anglo-Saxons for marriage equality
Conservative British Prime Minister David Cameron via Towleroad:
"I think marriage is a great institution – I think it helps people to commit, it helps people to say that they’re going to care and love for another person,” Cameron said at the dinner. "It helps people to put aside their selfish interests and think of the union that they’re forming. It’s something I feel passionately about and I think if it’s good enough for straight people like me, it’s good enough for everybody and that’s why we should have gay marriage and we will legislate for it."Someone needs to ask Mitt Romney if David Cameron is a "real" conservative. Cameron has also argued that conservative ideology inherently supports marriage equality, saying last October, "Conservatives believe in the ties that bind us; that society is stronger when we make vows to each other and support each other. So I don’t support gay marriage despite being a Conservative. I support gay marriage because I’m a Conservative."

The last time I posted a vid of a guy having fun at a woman's gymnastics meet a few people thought it was sexist. I don't see it. He's not mocking women. (He's not mocking men in dresses either.) He's mocking himself, and all men, in my view. He's showing what it's like when a klutzy guy tries to perform something as beautiful as women's gymnastics, and fails - kind of.

All 5 Star Trek captains to appear together in London
Perhaps it's not actually a gay story. Still... Have to admit my hottest captain picks are Janeway, and Kirk in the new movies. I went to the Star Trek exhibit at the Air & Space Museum in DC (scroll down a bit once you click for the blog post), a good twenty years ago. OMG. It was all from the original TV show. They had the original phasers, ALL of them. I could recognize which one was used in which show. And the dresses. They had the Romulan commander's dress, the one that tried to woo Spock in her quarters, remember? And that dress that let Diana Muldaur see. It was amazing.
